[HELP] HOW TO UNLOCK IPHONE 4 DOING IT BY YOURSELF?

I WAS upset if i could really unlock these phones. my mama will buy us iphones from japan so it will need to be unlock obviously when it arrives here so we could be able to use it

well, the title says it all. could i actually unlock these?

if no, how much it will cost?

how much is the charger and the headset of this phone?

REgarding for iPhone unlocking we have same issue we canvass any malls and they said it cost 2,000 because iPhone cannot be downgraded. If you have old ios we can easily unlock it using cydia or jailbreak.

i think you should do this first..try to know the model and firmware,baseband of your device..if your using A4 devices such as iphone 4 or 3gs,try to update and restore to its latest model except..6.0,if you have a 5.1.1 firmware try to jailbreak it in 5.1.1 firmware..and use ultrasnow..if it doesnt work try to search about unlocking your device in google,youtube is usefull in doing so..like the ones done by..EVERYTHINGAPPLEPRO..must know how to handle our devices first before asking for help,so we cant be ignorant about it..hope this ones help..

Its oviously depends on your baseband.. Japan softbank lock with 4.12 baseband cost you almost 6k to unlock.. Very expensive.. But as hood mentioned.. If you had a lower or old baseband i thinkbyou can unlock it by your self..

know your baseband and firmware,dont update yet on ios 6.0 or 6.0.1,its not yet unlockable,anyways you can unlock it but it'll cost you too much,for you not to spend some money JUST DO IT ON YOUR OWN,firmware 5.1.1 are unlockable,just jailbreak your phone and install and run ultrasnow,your phone will be unlocked like mine..
IPHONE 4,5.1.1fw....

ios 6.0.1 is now unlockable.....google ULTRASNOW FIXER for 6.x

tama unlockable nga kaso you need to be jailbroken..tethered jailbreaking needs a pc in order to restore full acces sa cydia apps and safari pag nalobat ka you need to boot it using redsnow..that s kind a irritating kase panu kung nasa labas ka at nalowbat device mu,none the less you always stick your ass in your home..ios 6 is unlockable with your choice of jailbreaking..TETHERED,SEMI-TETHERED..still the best way is ..UNTETHERED..

I dont think mauunlock nya yan kung ang baseband nya ay 4.12 maybe sa lower baseband. Softbank lock pa ang mahal ng unlock nyan

sa 3gs madali lang magunlock pero sa iPhone 4 hindi madali yan mga brother

Actualy sir r48 temporary unlock lang sinasabi mo pag pinafactory unlock po talaga yan pag softbank 7k ata ngayon 8 and 16 gb lang ang supported

Tapos ung sinasabi naman sa mall na 2k gevey sim lang un pag na update mo lusaw ang 2k mo

May nagbebenta kasi sakin ng ganyan 8.5k lang buti nagcanvas muna btw may iPhone 4 naman din ako ngayon kaya alam king hindi madali pagunlock..

sir merun aku iphone 4,ios 6 date,downgraded to 5.1.1 with 4.12.02 baseband,na unlock ko na rin,using redsnow ang ultrasnow,any carrier nagagamit ku now yung gevey sim ay hinde naman advisable dahil momentarily ngaaupdate ang ios..
