Announcement - Service Interruption 8/14/2012-8/15/2012

After blocking Nigerian users in all of our US servers yesteday. Our website was then DDOSed which cause some of the services running on the server to stop responding. Reboots has no effect since the service would just stop again after the server is back online. Blocking the IPs in the firewall is nnot feasible since the attacking IPs are very large that it would only do more harm by overloading the software firewall.

Fortunately the attack has subsided for now and the services are back online. Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Wow, those guys are trying to ruin us and you. Being an international customer I really understand the problems you're facing with such users. I really hope you resolve the issues you have with your PayPal account as soon as possible as well. I've been a happy PDProxy customer for more than one year and I will continue to be, maybe I'll have to start an account with Liberty Reserve just to extend my account lol.
