since this is a discussion thread and hope my inquiry fits with the thread title:

is it worth upgrading an iPad1 4.3.3 FW with the latest 5.1.1 fw?

any pros/cons? cpu speed issue? grafix? etc...

So far wala naman problem sa cpu at graphics kasi satisfied naman yung pinsan ko nung nag-update siya sa ipad1 niya although against siya on jailbreaking his device. You can check the ipad question problems thread or hintayin mo ang feedback ni sir litemint kasi ipad1 ang gamit niya.

Para malaman mo ang difference between 4.3.3 and 5.1.1 is to update your device. Just make sure to save your shshs blobs using tinyumbrella para pwede ka mag-downgrade just in case di mo nagustuhan. If you read the article that I posted prior to your post, the author did emphasized that gaming experience is just the same on all generations of iPad. Games for ipad are not necessarily dependent on the hardware but on how it was optimized for the specific device kaya nga may konting problem sa bagong ipad dahil some existing games are not fully optimized for the retina display.

thank you very much po for your very clear explanation regarding my inquiry. maybe i start to backup my files (videos/mp3/pics, etc) and get ready to upgrade and jailbreak this iPad1. i hope walang issues most especially sa favorite application ko na Amplitube 2.2.2 for iPad, eto po kasi gamit kong fx sa electric guitar sa church namin. thank you po ulit and will post feedback maybe next week.
