For iTouch 2G/3G/4G users please post all your questions, problems and other related concerns here.

Sir, here are the steps on how to jailbreak your iTouch 4, sayang dahil hardware talaga problem ng 3GS mo. Anyway, make sure you are connected to the internet before performing the stpes below.

1. Run redsn0w 0.9.9b8 as administrator.

2. Click Jailbreak.

3. Connect your device and click next.

4. Follow the DFU instructions.

5. Wait for redsn0w to verify, download and run the exploit on your device. You device will reboot once and wait for the ramdisk to finish.

6. Uncheck all the boxes except Install Cydia and hit Next.

7. Wait for the process to finish which usually takes place on the device.

8. Congrats at jailbroken na iTouch mo.

After mo mag-jailbreak run mo cydia para ma save niya hashes mo tapos run mo ulit tinyumbrella, kagaya nung ginawa mo sa 3GS mo para may backup ka ng SHSH blobs sa PC mo and then verify kung may 4.3.3 hash ka. Kung meron, update mo to 4.3.3 kasi mas stable siya, ganun pa rin yung steps, gawa ka ng custom firmware using sn0wbreeze, run TU (TinyUmbrella) TSS Server then use shift+restore using the CFW (Custom Firmware)that you made.

Getting error 20 at 3194.. Kapag maresolve ko na eh yung isang error nakukuha ko..vice versa.. Ngayon nkareco ery mode nnlng ipod ko... Walang epekto tiny umbrella.. Anyway clean restore na ata to.. May link kayo ng ios5.0.1? Compressed sana para madali pg DL

Sir, ano po yung ginawa nyo? did you follow the tut above? that is not intended for 4.3.5, para lang yun sa 4.3.2 firmware. Jailbroken po ba yung itouch nyo or not? did you upgrade from 4.3.3 to 4.3.5 or stock 4.3.5 na yung firmware nya nung binili mo? Did you save your hashes (SHSH) blobs at nakita mo na may 4.3.3 hash sa tinyumbrella before updating or restoring? If you get error 20 it means apple is not allowing you to downgrade to 4.3.3 and connected pa rin yung itunes sa apple gs server, kung may 4.3.3 SHSH blobs ka at error 20 pa rin, you need to change something on your host file to block apple and use tinyumbrella's TSS server for the downgrade process. Error 3194 means apple is not allowing you to restore to your current firmware and you need to upgrade to the latest. It is not asvisable to compress the IPSW file dahil it results to errors when restoring.

There is a reason why sa initail post ko may naka-quote asking for some device info, dahil hindi lahat ng process sa jailbreaking ay pareho, may process na mabilis  meron naman na required ang maraming steps. What works on specific firmware or model doesn't necessarily work on others, and from 4.3.5 to 5.0.1, downgrading requires a saved SHSH blob to successfully downgrade your device only iphone 3G/3GS and itouch 2G can downgrade direct to 4.1 with a stock firmware with no shsh blobs. iTouch 3/4G, iphone 4/4S and iPad 1/2 NO SHSH BLOBS NO DOWNGRADE!

Stock nga siya sir.. Malamang i clean restore ko siya sa itunes.. Tapos i downgrade ko na lang... Yun ba?

Sir, unfortunately there is no way for you to downgrade that easily to 4.3.3 kasi stock 4.3.5 po yung firmware ng itouch mo. Kailangan talaga ng 4.3.3 hash to downgrade and in your case, wala po yung hash sa device mo kasi wala siyang history ng 4.3.3 firmware. Pero meron pong way to downgrade without the SHSH blobs, but it is a very long and tedious process and it requires patience. I only tried this once and I hope it works for you like it did to me. Just follow the link below and good luck!

If you are willing to wait, you can update to 5.0.1 and wait for the untethered jailbreak. Pero sa tingin ko medyo matatagalan kasi sa 5.0 lang yung exploit na nakita ng chronic-dev and apple already patched the exploit on 5.0.1 and 5.0.2 will be released this week, if I am not mistaken, to finally fix the battery issue and 5.1 on the coming weeks. Pero hoping pa rin ako kahit na matagal, sayang yung mga cracked apps ng iPad2, napapabili tuloy ako ng legit dahil lang sa iOS 5.

Sir, sa iTouch po yan? na jailbreak nyo na po yung itouch? kung ganun po yung nakikita nyo sa cydia, hintayin nyo lang po kasi baka busy ang cydia server. Importante po na ma-save ng cydia yung hashes mo para pwede ka mag update to 4.3.3 at downgrade din to a lower firmware as long as may hash. Hintayin nyo lang po, kasi naka queue pa device nyo.

Yup sir itouch po and najailbreak na, bali un  lang po po walang shsh na lumabas sa cydia, xguro nga natraffic.

Sir, matagal na po yung 24 hrs, try you rin po mag clear cache and cookies sa safari tapos reboot nyo po yung itouch.
